Ressources FL is recruiting a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor for Forage RJLL, a major player in drilling.

As the Senior HSE Advisor, you act as a subject matter expert on occupational health and safety and environmental compliance. You will help implement and improve processes that reduce workplace incidents and you will support field teams in applying best practices through active site visits.

Your next challenges

• Inspect drilling sites and related equipment
• Initiate and coordinate hazard identification and risk analysis, follow up on corrective actions, and implement permanent solutions
• Coach supervisors and superintendents on preventive measures and support them in building integrated health and safety management within their teams
• Engage supervisors, drillers, and helpers in prevention activities
• Propose practical solutions to site challenges
• Present site visit reports to the client’s representative
• Conduct joint site visits with CNESST inspectors
• Track employee training and compliance
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead and participate in incident and accident investigations in HSE
• Deliver Common Core training 770200 Diamond Driller Operator Surface Mining

What you bring

• Minimum five years of prevention experience
• Certificate in OHS or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• ICAM investigation management certification or equivalent
• Experience in mining and diamond drilling is an asset
• Knowledge of environmental spill management
• Common Core training 770200 Diamond Driller Operator Surface Mining
• Accredited to deliver Common Core training or willing to become accredited
• Strong command of English spoken and written since you will interact with anglophone employees and clients
• Availability for frequent travel to remote worksites
